i've noticed that my boyfriend (for lack of a better word) is terrible at handling particular "things going wrong" situations. The moment something goes wrong with a regularly used appliance he just can't handle the situation anymore and i'm often left to find the solution. which i'm fine with. usually i can identify it and if I can't fix it then i can always circle back to it when i have the spoons. Just the combination of having to both fix something and do the thing after stops him and prevents him from doing those chores for days to weeks at a time.

I wonder if that's just a presentation of a symptom of his AuDHD or an unlearned skill. Or both. Maybe I have more of a skill built up with tolerating that from engineering.
