He could sense how teasing her voice was to the point that he could swear he heard the mussels of her face pulling up a smile. That was too much, he knew, but he enjoyed the thought of it for a moment. He tapped his cane as he followed her to the wrestling mats, he folded it leaving it by the side of the soft floor. “How thoughtful of you, usually I don’t get the honor of knowing the name of people beating me up.” - he jokes, although it wasn’t all of a joke, fortunately on the streets he was usually the one giving a beat, not taking one, but of course he had bad days. - “I’m Matt Murdock. Pleased to meet you, Felicia.”
“Didn’t you know, Mr. Murdock? I’m the queen of thoughtfulness. It’s nice to be acknowledged every once in a while, though. I won’t lie to you about that.” Felicia found herself teasing once more. She couldn’t help it, there as just something about the redhead. Obviously he knew she was joking, but what she liked about him best is that he’d give the snarky comments right back. Felicia didn’t exactly think of herself as a witty girl, but banter was fun every now and then.
Lifting up her arm and stretching it over her head, Felicia stood there a moment, enjoying the burn of her muscles. That feeling was the only thing that kept her training, because it meant she was getting better. Shaking her arm out, she then eyed Matt from across her. If there was one thing Felicia knew, it was how to give a good fight. “I’m not going to be easy on you, you know. So I hope you won’t be easy on me. I’m not fragile, so give me all you got.”
