“You will burn and you will burn out; you will be healed and come back again.”

nosferatu (2024) dir. robert eggers // kiss of death (1908) by włodzimierz błocki
“false allegations make it harder for real victims to come forward” aka “if a few women lie then that damages the credibility of every single woman and girl on the planet but millions and millions of men all over the world can actually rape, abuse and even kill women and girls and that shouldn’t damage the credibility or reputation of any man”
it was recently discovered that there are discord groups full of nearly 70,000 men (and there are surely more that we don’t know about) where they give eachother tips on how to drug and rape women and get away with it, I haven’t seen hardly any men outraged enough to speak on it. the general consensus from them, as usual, is just “not all men would do that”
now imagine how many of them would be outraged enough to speak out if it was a group full of 70,000 women giving eachother tips on how to falsely accuse a man of rape and get him put in prison. they wouldn’t say “well yeah but not all women do that” they would say “women clearly enjoy lying about rape and that’s why none of them should ever be believed”
