It was a welcome change to finally have someone not be completely horrified or lose their collective marbles over Karen. The sincerity and intrigue in the woman’s voice brought a sense of relief for certain.
Karen, however, wasn’t exactly sharing in Jim’s sentiment. Pupils contracted and a growl vibrated in her massive throat as the woman neared the crocodile’s side.
Creatures of the human realm seem far more s e n s i t i v e to the presence of spirits.
