Tina St. Claire, 1984 - 2016.
Tina St. Claire was my friend, a brilliant artist and with all meaning of the phrase, one of a kind.
Tina passed away Wednesday morning, March 9th, 2016 at her home in Los Angeles, California after courageously battling Cancer. I don’t know how to sum someone’s life or our times together up in any form or fashion, it’s an impossible feat. But Tina was the genuine article when it came to art and being an incredible person. We had many adventures in the time we knew each other and she taught me many things from all points of life. She loved her fiancé Dereck Seltzer who was her collaborator, confidant and beside her to the very end. She loved her kitten Moogle. She was never not with a sketchbook and she always had a hilarious quip ready for anything. She saw the world with a light no one else held or will hold.
I will miss my friend. Sweet dreams sidekick.
I’ve gathered a number of Tina’s works of art, collaborations with her fiancé Dereck and other miscellaneous images below. Please take a look and look through her Instagram and Tumblr, she was always, always creating.

I have this huge piece of foam core that I use as a mood/inspiration board which hangs in my studio. Right now I just have a few color palettes and techniques on there. I’m about to be working on an Alice and Wonderland themed snare drum for SJC drums, so I have a few illustrations by Salvador Dali on there now. I’m pretty excited about this project(: More progress to come.

Okay. I saw this on Facebook and thought it was by far one of the coolest things I have ever seen. I’m not a fashion designer or anything but these mannequins are really neat. One iDummy can transform into any body shape making it a great tool for designers to create all forms of garments with one mannequin. This invention will really change the fashion industry.

Blackmilk Clothing Company & James Lillis
Oh how I love it. I love how James Lillis taught himself to sew just for the hell of it and even though he sucked at it, and it took him forever to get good at it he still kept trying to improve his abilities. And here I am obsessed with the company and stalking the website around Museum release sales. Embrace the weirdness within.
Wear clothes which are flashy and eye catching because you like them.
Wear what you want to wear and rock it.
