Lux growled “Shut up, you don’t know what you’re talking about...I don’t have anywhere to go!” she snapped at her, only then pausing when she noticed Amelia standing in the doorway “She’s not doing well, Aurora and I can’t get her to calm down” The witch said carefully.

“Hey no one asked you to butt into this conversation!” Alex called out as she climbed over Isolde and kissed against her stomach lightly.

“Oh well then you should have said!” Lux called back, Amelia curled herself into Isolde and watched as Alex kissed Isolde’s stomach, the blonde giving a little purr “That gave happy flutters” she mumbled sleepily, cupping Alex’s cheek.

Alex stopped in the doorway and turned to face Amelia when she scolded her. All alex wanted to do was protect this family. She feared for the worst if she fell asleep. She sighed, not wanting to argue with Amelia, and slowly made her way back to the bed. She wasn’t happy about it but she would do anything her girls said.

Amelia looked at Alex with pleading eyes “Come here...” she soothed and pulled Alex against her “I now you just want to be the protective one” she shushed and ran her fingers through her hair “But you’re much better off here” she reassured and then kissed her temple “With us three” she said, taking her hand and placing it on Isolde’s stomach along with hers “See?”

Alex sighed softly at Amelia, knowing she really couldn’t contain her joy, as both her and Alex had talked about children, even before Isolde. “My dad was.. well you know same as usual. Stuck in hiding. Violet came over for a little bit.” She shrugged.

Amelia cleared her throat softly, trying to push down the happiness bubbling up inside of her for the very idea, Isolde now laying with her eyes open as she listened to the two talk. “Oh she did? Was that who the soup on the counter was from?” she wondered, Amelia softly combing her fingers through Alex’s hair. “I’m really sorry that I’m over excitable, it’s just...A baby would be the best Christmas present ever.” she breathed.

We don’t know if she is or not, and I thinking cornering her would make her stress out.” Alex said leaning against the door frame. “I mean if she is, then of course I’m going to be thrilled , but Isolde is stressing about it.”

Amelia gave a sad sigh and nodded, she knew she was getting far too ahead of herself, the brunette looked to Isolde who was pretending to sleep on the bed, the blonde occasionally cracking open an eye to make sure that Alex and Amelia weren’t looking at her, the blonde trying to avoid the subject she was nervous on in any way possible. “I know…I’m sorry” Amelia sighed, before taking Alex’s hand and giving it a squeeze “Was your day good at least?”

Alex rubbed the back of her neck. “I think it might be safer too, for now.. since that shit that happened at the hospital and my sister going awol. It’s best if we get off the radar for a while.” She added. “I’d feel better knowing I wouldn’t have to check my shoulder every five minutes in case someone was following me.”

Amelia nodded as Alex spoke, Isolde unsure and yet she couldn’t deny the fact her girls seemed set on the idea “Would it not be more dangerous to keep moving? where more people could see us?” she asked, but then took a breath “Then again, I’ve never had this before, hunters tend to leave us alone out of fear I think...” Isolde admitted, Amelia nodded “And you can’t always be here, that’s what Alex is getting at, it’s not safe if they learn where we always are, then they can time when you’re not in...Alex and I can only fight off so much, Alex can fight more than I can at least. I can’t fight at all”

Isolde wrinkled her nose “Yes, I saw that, melted plastic everywhere” she admitted, the blonde laying on her side to watch Alex and Amelia “Oh just lovely. Well, Violet and I went into what we call Little Italy and our old home, it’s where we used to live in 1927, you know what it is now? A Starbucks” she giggled “My daughter was born in a Starbucks...I wonder if it shall get me free beverages?”

Amelia kissed Alex’s head softly and cuddled her close, loving the warmth she brought. Isolde sat down on the bed and tilted her head “For the most part?” she wondered, looking to Amelia “We had a wobbly moment?” she wondered, booping Alex’s nose. “Not her, me..” Amelia corrected.

Alex rolled off the bed and did as Amelia commanded. She opened the red jewelry box that was nearly filled with different rings. “Jesus you weren’t kidding she said, finding a rose quartz gold ring almost immediately. “Here.” She said handing it to Amelia. “this screams her personality.”

Amelia smiled wide and wiped away some stray tears that had slipped previously “Oh that’s such a good choice for her, she’ll love it. It’ll suit that coat of hers” she admitted, pulling Alex over to her and kissing her softly. The witch looking over when Isolde came in with blood all over her shirt, the demon pulling it off and tossing it to the side “Honestly, this was clean on” she murmured, opening up the closet, the space now separated into three sections for the girls, all of Isolde’s things pink. “I think I got over excited in well, you know...Not something I enjoy” She rambled, as she took out a pink baggy sweater, not always liking to admit to the fact she’d had to hunt. Amelia sat drawing her fingers through Alex’s hair as Isolde wandered around, the demon tying her short hair back into a teeny ponytail “I hope you both had good days?” she asked, finally turning to look at them both.

“He was always nice to me, let me stay with him during the Summer when my mom had me shipped off to England for Boarding school” she giggled as kisses were peppered all over her, looking to the door when she heard keys. “Then you should pack something?” she offered, sitting up “Oh and check that red jewellery box there, pick a ring..” she suggested, only hearing Isolde humming in the other room.
