I think the biggest thing I’ve learned about life since coming to Japan, is that you’re not alone with being lost. By being “lost”, I mean lost in life. Not knowing where you want go to or what you want to do. In a way that’s comforting, to know that you’re not alone. I find myself surrounded by so many different people, from many different countries. What we have in common is that we’re all searching, we’re all lost and we’re all here together in Japan experiencing. It makes be calmer to know that I’m not alone. In february, after being in Japan for a month, I started freaking out about what I wanted to do in the future. But I basically told myself: “Dude, chill, you’re here in freakin’ Japan!” And I realized that I shouldn’t worry too much. Enjoying what’s now, is so important. It’s normal to freak out once in a while, but I won’t let it drown me.🌻
