In streetwear it’s important to carve your own lane and to respect the other brands in your industry and what they have worked hard to accomplished. In the thirteen years of being a brand, we've always shown our peers respect and friendship and with all the politics that may play out it was always love in the end. Since our birthed in 2007 we have been running with the made up word ”BLVCK” that translates to word BLACK. For the first time ever its important I speak out on the fact that people have used the word ”BLVCK” and have no business using it. From clothing brands to other industries people have abused this word and felt they had the right to use it. I can genuinely say I have researched this word for many years and no history of this word in any way was use to build creative and or companies. My point to all of this is create your own lane and study the things that come before you. We've worked hard and many years to create with love and to share our creative freedom with the rest of the world and it's unfortunate that people will take the easy way out and try to build something off a word we live and die for. To everyone who've used this word to build something and profit of it understand that our clients, followers and love ones know who was the first to make this word what it is today. @megvgem https://www.instagram.com/p/B_jU0U8pBDF/?igshid=a7ik1179vrpd
