We noticed that these people don't get nearly enough love in the goth community, and we're here to prove you don't need to be skinny/white/cisgender/binary/abled/straight to be beautiful and goth.

Elder Goth. I'm a 51 year old urban literary Corp Goth who listens mostly to Bessie Smith and 30s music about mine collapses and train disasters. I was actually Goth before the label existed. Rock on, my beautiful spiritual children.

Wow. Way to be an asshole and call someone fat. She looks perfect to me. She’s not fat. Who would WANT to be described that way? This tumblr infuriates me.

The "fat goth" tag is entirely voluntary. Anyone who checks it is doing so of their own will. I do not put any additional tags on a picture that someone has not checked. If someone chooses to include fat in their tags, I will include it in the image description, as it is something they have chosen to describe themself as. Some people have submitted their own pictures using fat in their image description. 

We do not call anyone fat as an insult, and mean it only as a descriptor, as many fat acceptance activists use it. No one on this blog will be called fat unless they call themselves fat first. 

We do not place any identifiers on anyone unless it is something they call themselves.

I will happily remove any words that submitters do not identify with from any description.
