Starting my tank back up with hopefully some nice shrimp and maybe a few tetras if the shrimp are managable!

Hill stream tank. Now with gold white cloud minnows. Such a beautiful underrated fish. Just fed some mysis shrimp in here so they are excited for food

Also if anyone was wondering, Kingsley has passed, along with the two snails. He went first, a combination of his dragonscaling making him blind and having trouble feeding and old age (he was around 2.5 yrs). I was using a syringe to feed for the last month or so, but I think it was just his time. Julien lived for a while after that, and Bobo outlived all of them, and I ended up having him for close to 3.5 years, not bad for a snail with a bunch of holes in his shell! I’m currently away from my hometown, but seeing some people where I’m living now keeping fish/reptiles, it’s made me want to take care of my tank again. I sort of just let the algae take over, so it’s still fully cycled and ready to go after a thurough clean, but I’ll have to wait until December to do anything, as I’ll be away until then. I’ll be focusing mainly on the plants I brought with me, and any updates I can do on my pal J’s poor fancy goldfish in his tiny tank.

Working hard to move this kid into a more suitable tank 😱😱😱 his owner apparently rescued him from another bad situation without knowing how to care for a fancy, I had to buy her a siphon hose and dechlorinator, she didn’t even have those 😰😰😱

This is Slouglas! He’s a lettuce sea slug I got at Reef-A-Palooza. I’ve wanted a nudibranch or slug for a long time, but most have very specific, hard to provide diets. Slouglas here just eats algae!

He has a very cool ability to save chloroplasts from the algae he eats, and store it in his skin. He then becomes photosynthetic! So he can get food from the algae he eats, and from the chloroplasts he saves. Nifty.
