The Gate of All Nations in the ancient city of Persepolis, capital of the mighty Persian empire. The Gate was built by King Xerxes I, ruler of the empire during the famous Persian Wars against the Greeks. The Gate is protected by a pair of colossal Lamassus, mythological bulls with the head of a man.
