Tagged: Blaine Anderson, Peter Burke and Diana Berrigan Summary: Blaine hasn't spoken since he's been rescued.
"He hasn't said a word. Not a single thing" Diana looked through the two-way glass at the boy who was sat bolt upright in the interrogation chair. It was merely a formality, but she found herself just wanting to drag him out of there so he'd looked less like a boy being led to slaughter.
Peter looked at the boy, he was already mad that Neal had been forced to go through, the fact that children had gone through it was heartbreaking. He'd seen the files, Blaine was one of the youngest. The FBI hadn't yet managed to get a hold of the boy's parents, they had managed to contact his older brother, Cooper Anderson, who was travelling to New York as they spoke.
"What the hell happened in that damn hospital?" Peter ran a hand through his hair, the file on the hospital itself spread across the table in front of him. Pictures of the conditions that the patients had to live in, the testimonies from other patients. Some of the people had been transferred to other hospitals, some had been released under supervision. Blaine would be released to his brother once the man got into the city.
"I am going to enjoy interrogating this Doctor Carter" Diana laughed with a sharp edge to her voice. The asshole had messed with Neal's brain, with the kid before them, with everyone and pretended that it was helping. According to the documents, she was injecting excessive amounts of medication into the patients with no successes. How no-one had asked questions about it before was beyond her.

Blaine tapped lightly on the table with one hand, a staccato beat. He wished that he was back at home, where he could play their grand piano to calm himself. He'd been in the weird room for ages, the room that looked a lot like his room in solitary but with the addition of a giant window which he knew people were staring at him. He would stare at him.
He'd lost weight, he could see that in the mirror. His clothes, the ones he'd been found in, were hanging off him and he could see that his cheeks were much more defined. His eyes looked bigger, deep purple marks hung under his eyes. His hair was growing out of control, almost hanging in his eyes if not for the hair gel he had grabbed before he was escorted out by that nice woman, Diana.
He guessed that Diana worked with Neal, he briefly remembered her name being mentioned along with a Peter. Neal had always talked about them like he trusted them and he trusted Neal's judgement. Plus, they had actually searched for him, it would have been so easy to miss him.
He hadn't bothered trying to talk besides indications of his head, a shake or a nod. He was in shock, that he was in the real world, surrounded by people. He hadn't talked to anyone in a month, his voice was rusty and his throat had hurt when he'd tried to talk earlier in the bathroom.
He was scared if anything, scared that if he did talk, he would be labelled as crazy again and sent back. He didn't want to go back, he couldn't. He wanted to just go home, back to his hateful parents, or go live with Cooper. Cooper had an apartment out in New York. He could see if he could find Beca, or even Kurt. He could try find everyone and try and rebuild his life.
He knew that he would have to repeat Junior Year again, he'd been given no school work to do during his time in Crossover. He would be 19 by the time he could graduate, if he graduated. It was looking less and less likely that he would and he was scared that he had lost out on his life.
Performing was the only thing he could do, the only thing that required no effort on his part. Maybe he could follow in Cooper's footsteps and go into TV work or something, if they would hire him after his time in Crossover. He didn't want to be stuck doing nothing at home, hoping that he was alright. He just wanted someone to tell him that everything would be alright.
