gathered on the rooftop of a  paris  -  chic  hotel in the upper-east side was a handful of some of the wealthiest families in manhattan ; toasting to a successful fundraiser blair’s stepfather had arranged and she so perfectly organized . she wore her confidence as flawlessly as she did her cartier ; a proud grin glued to her glossed lips as she lifts her glass of chardonnay to celebrate their third donation goal met . as she then brought her drink close for a small sip , her eyes landed on an unwelcome face ; one that would always set fire to every nerve in her body .

❛  jenny humphrey . ❜   blatantly interrupting the conversation she was having with another guest , blair glares her down with narrowed brows and piercing eyes . ❛ you do know it’s super rude for the actual charity cases to attend the foundraiser’s , right ?   ❜  she glances at the young man jenny had been briefly socializing with for a mere second before she continues her slaughter . ❛ i told you not to show your face around me again --- so leave .    ❜ her tone lowers with her demand , but she doesn’t break face until the blonde slams her glass down on the table and heads to the door . a sigh of relief escapes her , and she brings her attention to the man , swiftly changing her expression to one more welcoming .
