stay hydrated - PLEASE, WATER IS VERY PEAK

close windows when its afternoon like 12-3 ish otherwise the hot air is just gonna get in your house

OPEN THOSE WINDOWS AT NIGHT for cold air

ELECTROLYTES be it fruit or those sports drinks thingies

stay INSIDE as much as possible

portable fans are a really good thing to have, and I think they're very cheap??

please do NOT do any strenuous tasks (although i think it kinda goes without saying)

and if you have ANY signs of heat exhaustion [tiredness, dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, etc. etc.] PLEASE GO INSIDE to a COLD or COOL PLACE, REHYDRATE and COOL DOWN (fans, cold compresses and stuff like that)

and if anyone you know or you yourself is showing signs of HEATSTROKE [very high body temp, losing consciousness, hot skin but no sweat, etc. etc.] CALL EMERGENCY SERVICES and please don't drive yourself to A&E or the equivalent wherever you are

i think most of this goes without saying but its there just in case
