How to Setup the Apple TV
Primary steps
Below are the primary steps involved in the Apple TV Setup
1. Firstly, insert in the power cable and connect your Apple TV to your TV using the HDMI lead
2. Secondly, power on your TV and switch to the HDMI input
3. Now, Press the Menu button on the Siri Remote
4. Alternatively, you can connect the Siri Remote to your Apple TV by holding down Menu and + keys
5. Next, using the remote, select your language and country
6. Your iPad or iPhone device will be very useful to set up the Apple TV
7. Ensure Bluetooth is switched on your iOS device
8. The Apple TV will attempt to connect to the same Wi-Fi network used in your iPhone
9. Using the Siri remote, type your email address and password
10. You can use your Apple Watch’s built-in Remote app to regulate the Apple TV

1. Decide on enabling the Location Services feature: If you wish Apple’s new aerial screensavers to change based on time then activate the Location Services feature.
2. Opt-in to use Siri on your Apple TV: Then, you should opt into Siri. Opt-in to Siri to use the advantage of the built-in mic on the Siri Remote and the new commands compatible on your Apple TV.
3. Opt-in to Aerial screensavers: During the setup process, you would be asked if you want Aerial screensavers. Based on your plan and preference you can decide upon this.
4. Accept to send diagnostic data: The final screen will enquire if Apple can get diagnostic data from your Apple TV, which includes your location. You can choose this option based on your inclination.
