in 2017 i...

took on a lot more responsibilities & handled them pretty well for the most part

spent my birthday on an island like i always dreamt

learned anything is possible even when the odds are against you

had the courage to leave a work situation where i wasn’t valued 

became a project manager/event coordinator/copywriter seamlessly

traveled all around the u.s to places i never considered visiting & was actually pleasantly surprised + got my miles up

spent more time with family than i have in the past 3 years

was raped by someone i thought i loved & learned that sometimes you need to protect yourself from ppl that claim they love you 

learned i’m stubbornly myself and that’s perfectly okay + to not allow anyone to try & “shame” me about that

broke out of my shell and explored my femininity a lot more 

said good bye to friendships i never thought i’d have to see go but became stronger because of it

grew even closer to my few friends

had a great fuckin time
