âOh geez. Its not that bad.âÂ
Youthful enthusiasm and being the somewhat village idiot when it suited him, Jacob leans back, the chair he is sitting on leaning dangerously close to falling but assassin balancing making it impossible to decide if it will or not.Â
 âAnyways, lets order some tea.â
âUnfortunately my tastebuds have been spoiled by a guy on my team who can cook pretty damn well and a former girl âfriendâ with a habit of poisoning me and only me. Plus my stomach physically canât handle more than a small amount of food at a time. Torture does that to ya.â Plus she didnât like gorging herself on a bunch of food in the first place.
âSure, Iâm down for a cup.â
eliminatorleckâ:
âEveryone goes nuts the second something is up for âlimited timeââ he sneers in response, his arms still crossed in front of his chest. Itâs the same in Ferenginar, when a store owner runs a limited time sale. Every Ferengi turns beastly when they see an opportunity to save any money. Well, almost every Ferengi.
âLiving here is alright. I strive to get my own house though, I prefer to have privacy. Anyway, I can say for certain that the flatiron over there is made of sweets, if you want to try.â He points to his bulbous nose in emphasis as to why he knows that for certain.
âWell it is a pretty fun opportunity. Plus the limited time stuff might not end up on a selling website if you donât get the chance to grab it now.â Sheâs lived through that hell once before. The shit she does to please her younger sibling and cousins...
âHaving your own house huh? Iâm so used to living with other people that I completely forgot about that. I probably should so that I donât get lectured over someone trying to cause trouble at my apartment for the fifth time.â Not that it was HER fault she had a massive bounty on her head. Riku raised an eye at the guy and walked over to the flatiron and snapped it in half. Like he said, it was candy. Dark chocolate to be precise.

Mirae is standing dangerously close to the edge, but she doesnât plan on falling in. Sheâs been here years and that urge has never really been a thing for her. Sheâs just curious if anyone has fallen in, but it may seem unlikely.Â
âIf someone were to throw a rock in, would they hear an end?â Should she try? She can always grab a random rock and just drop it.Â
âI doubt it honestly. It might have an âendâ but it doesnât mean its in THIS hole. This thing might have more than one hole, like a system of tunnels. Considering this freaking city it wouldnât surprise me if that was the case.â Riku wasnât going to try stopping the girl if she wanted to try it, but it was a warning.
demonxslayerxsangoâ:
âYes, though her era is far more modern than the one I am from.â It was quite hard to believe that their land would change that much. Of course, 500 years was a rather long time, so it wasnât impossible.
âOur country? Are you also from Japan?â That would explain their conversation, and the fact that this one seemed as knowledgeable as Kagome about their home.
âWhat is a âlight novelâ?â
âMore modern huh? I can understand that for sure. And yeah, though Iâm from the Kansai Region of Japan. I canât remember the old name for it though, the best I can say that its about west of Edo?â That was just a guess from Riku though, she should probably know this from all the times sheâs traveled from Kansai to Tokyo when she was a kid. And ya know, History Class.
âIts a book thatâs usually shorter than a typical novel. So instead of having like over 500 pages it only has 120. Theyâre really popular in the modern era and have all types of stories. Heck, Historical Japan is a pretty popular genre too for light novels-â
[Hey everyone, sorry I've been slow to posting! I just started College last week so I've been trying to accomidate to not only that but also finishing up my assignments day by day, so I'll be pretty slow when it comes to Riku right now (well, slower than normal)
I'll make sure to put up an event starter if I happen to make it, so keep tuned! And if I don't, then I'll make a mini starter for later.]
demonxslayerxsangoâ:
âYes. There are many villages where I am from, and even in the bigger areas you see them. These cars are not present, nor exist in my world. However, I have heard a bit about such strange things from a friend, who went to the world of another friend which had them.â She remembered Inuyasha telling her of many strange things in Kagomeâs world, or rather, time period.
âI see. Iâll be sure to avoid them.â Perhaps travelling on foot was still the better, or safer mode of transport.
Huh? She knew someone from an alternate world with modern technology? Riku wasnât expecting that. It shouldnât be too surprising since alternate world travel seemed to be the new groove as of lately- not that she could take being an alternate world traveller herself.
âHah? Ainât that interesting? Just a random guess but is that friend of yours also from Japan? I donât know what it is, but it seems our country has a weird habit of dragging people to other worlds- or maybe thatâs just me reading too many light novels.âÂ
fryebyeâ:
âOh good, you tasted it.â usually people from out of the village were just swallowing it whole, as if they didnât eat the hearts and lungs of other animals, or the butts. He swallows a giggle threatening to erupt from his mouth.Â
 âYou want to order another?â
Of COURSE she tasted it! Yeah some of her senses were fucked from years travelling between Earth and Amaron but they werenât THAT fucked. Itâd probably taste better with a spicy sauce or something to accommodate it- not that her cooking skills were anything to sneeze at.Â
âNo thanks, any more than this and my stomach will rebel against me.â And that was the last thing she wanted.Â
@blazinginvokearcâ
âI wonder if anyoneâs fallen down the hole upon their first arrival here.â WHY is she wondering such a thing? Though, it is a curious thought. Has anyone rolled down on accident when on the verge of waking?Â
âIf they have, they sure donât mention it.â She heard some rumors about people who did fall in but wake up in front of the hole with little to no memories about how they ended up back there. That sort of thing was too dangerous to screw around with.Â
santcryuâ:
âTch, theyâre the oneâs who were trying to take a bite at me, so I slice âem up.â as mean, yes he was lost, and yes he happened to fight something he wasnât sure what it was, but he knew it was an animal. Whatever it was, Zoro won, end of the story, since his memory seems to erase anything that is considers âweakâ. âI donât need bandages, theyâre hard to walk around with, Iâm fine, just need some sleep and Iâll be good.âÂ
âWho the fuck comes to that conclusion of nearly getting mauled so Iâll beat the crap out of who mauled me.â Not that Riku could really talk but she wasnât that murder hobo-y. Still, it would be more of a pain in the ass to walk around with a trail of blood rather than taking the treatment. âYa know that if there as more than one then it can track you while youâre spewing blood like a fountain right? You arenât gonna get much sleep like that. And if you DONâT want bandages then how about getting stitched up instead? Though it ainât my fault if you break them doing something crazy.â
fryebyeâ:
Liver pie did not taste good, in honesty. But it was the liver that made a empire so theres that, not like he could actually say anything about it, but it did have some addicting qualities to it [thats just him]
 âwellâŠ?â
If Riku had a tail in her human form, it would be bristling from the sheer emotion she was feeling right now as her eye twitched. It tasted like iron...and vinegary!
âI feel like I need to rinse my mouth out.â This was basically Riku-speak for saying it wasnât bad but it wasnât good either. Mainly due to the fact that despite her comment she was still going in for another bite.
eliminatorleckâ:
Some of these events that have spread all over Spirale these days are most peculiar. He at least assumes it must be part of the summer celebrations that they opened a new store within Archimedes that offers hidden edible objects in their assortment. It is quite unfortunate that most of the participants donât seem to have sensitive noses. Or any common sense, for that matter. To go into a store and start biting into random objects⊠heâs not quite sure if he should call that stupid or brave.
âThat stuff must taste pretty good if theyâre riskinâ their teeth for it. Iâm not so much into sweets myselfâ he trails off, glancing around the store again. âItâs more like that I live here and I heard about the opening of a new store. Not sure what I expected, but that here ainât it.â
âWell this is a limited time shop, maybe thereâs a cash prize or something if you manage to get everything right.â The cash part would be pretty tempting for anyone involved if it was true, but seeing as how you had to pay to participate it might not be all worth it.Â
âI donât mind sweets, but Iâm not risking someone recording me biting into a iron chest by accident.â She was at least trying to keep some level of professionalism because seriously- who was going to hire a mercenary that got tricked into biting into sheet metal? âHuh, you live in Archimedes Ward? I have an âofficeâ here that I work at.â
@blazinginvokearc
"tch, its just a small scratch, why the hell are you so bent up over that." The wound itself was his damaged arm, blood pouring down as if his hands were mauled by a cougar. Yet, the one who was hurt were nonchalant as if this was nothing new for him.
âDUDE, you look like you got mauled by a group of lions how the FUCK are you not at least dizzy from the blood lost?!â It would be weirder if Riku didnât get bent up about someone being injured around her. Yeah she may not care about a lot of stuff but even she isnât cruel enough to just leave someone injured lying around. âJust stay still for one damn second while I patch this up!â
@blazinginvokearcâ
 ââŠâ
âWell come on, its liver pie. It wonât kill you.â pushing the other to eat it, its always nice to see people try new things. Things that he is used to, seeing their uncomfortable faces is rather nice.Â
âI know I said I would try anything....â At least it didnât smell of blood like someone forgot to rinse off the liver in the first place. Still it looked like, SOMETHING. Picking up her fork, Riku raised an eyebrow as she went to take a bite...
Candy Crunch [Spiralefes- Leck]
Stopping over at the themed home goods store after work, Riku found out quickly from the sounds of both happiness and yelps from accidentally biting into an electric VCR that this was one of the events that were going on for Spiralefes. It kind of reminded her of that one show from back home that was an escape room but everything was chocolate...in fact it was nearly plagiarizing with how similar it was. Not that she really cared about copyright law in a place like this.Â
A part of her wanted to participate but at the same time biting into a wood desk seemed like a fine idea to get splinters in the mouth. And it seemed like someone else had the same idea as well just standing to the side and watching the other participants.
âOf all the different activities they had here, this somehow is the weirdest one.â
â itâs adorable that they think they could stop us if we tried. â
"HA, ain't that right? It'll take more than that to stop the both of us!"
wabisabiowariâ:
âYou think Iâd be here trying to scam the IRS if I had cash to spare? If it works, Iâll take you to lunch after I get the money.â
âSo youâre nerfed here too, huh? Well, that canât be helped. When you can survive being stabbed and bringing a trophy to the justice department, lemme know.â
âWait, do we even HAVE an IRS in Spirale?â The thought quickly passed through Rikuâs mind before just raising an eyebrow.Â
âWell Iâm not as nerfed as I was before. You donât see anyone else throwing around swords like theyâre daggers do you? Itâd be nice if I could enchant them again though. Welp Iâm free to die on Fridays since I have an entire weekend to recover from my head being seperated from my body! Just, donât be a dick and randomly decapitate me while Iâm in the middle of eating, especially when it comes to taiyaki.â
