I think it's a great time to have a conversation about the way many businesses desire common autistic traits from their workers (rigid adherence to rules, problem-solving skills bolstered by strong pattern recognition, ability to soak up knowledge, attention to detail) while demonizing these same traits once they learn the employee with those traits actually is autistic, and going out of their way to punish autistic people no matter how many of these positive traits are shown. It doesn't matter how good your attention to detail is, once you're known to be autistic it's now "rigidity" and "inability to see the big picture" and they will find excuses to punish you

Take that is probably too nuanced for this site: "pregnancy isn't body horror" and "trans men and nonbinary people are justified to view pregnancy as body horror" are takes that should be allowed to coexist because while the former stresses that pregnancy is a natural occurrence that should not be further stigmatized, the latter stresses that for a lot of AFAB trans people, pregnancy is NOT a natural event and the permanent changes pregnancy brings WOULD in fact be the same kind of body horror as growing an extra eyeball on your toe
