⧠MAGIC[K]AL USES FOR LILIES:
Before you use Lilies in your craft, please note that they are toxic to cats and some may cause irritation if they are touched by you. These types are identified as Calla Lilies, Belladonna Lilies, and Lily of the Valley.Â
Lilies are closely tied to and associated with the Moon, water, and emotions.
Use them in magic[k]s for protection; they can be used to repel baneful magic[k], negative energies, spirits/entities, and influences. Simply planting them in your garden will protect your property and those within it from the aforementioned.Â
Use in magic[k]s to repel love or, conversely, to grow and attract love.
Use in magic[k]s to bring strength, peace, and harmony.
Use in magic[k]s pertaining to deities and divinity.

This is such an excellent post! I just want to add one thing on the toxicity to cats, and itâs that even a small exposure of pollen or vase water can be very urgent and harmful, from any variety.
Per petMD:
âLily poisoning in cats is a medical emergencyâif your cat eats any part of a lily or is exposed to its pollen, seek veterinary care immediately, as it can cause fatal kidney failure within 24â72 hours.
Lilies are beautiful and common in bouquets, especially around holidaysâbut they are extremely dangerous for cats. Even small exposures, like brushing against pollen or drinking water from a vase, can lead to life-threatening toxicity.
If you live with a cat, the safest choice is to avoid lilies entirely in your home and yard.â
Thank you Rowan for another amazing witchblr post!

Witches! Please do me a favor and fill out this survey for my Senior Seminar class.
I'm currently an anthropology student at Cleveland State University doing a survey on witchcraft trends over the past twenty years. If you have been practicing witchcraft (close to) 5 years or more, I would really appreciate it if you would please fill out this survey!
Please help out a fellow Witch!
I've been practicing witchcraft on and off since 2005. I first started with a single book and then later learned a lot of the basics from a mentor, a Wiccan 2nd Degree Priestess. I moved on from Wicca into general Eclectic Witchcraft, and over the years have gone through many changes in my practice and beliefs. I'm looking to see how other people's practices have changed as well.
I know a lot of mutuals and witches I used to follow are gone, but I'll tag a few: @aerieherbal @grayladyofthewell @graycloak @stsathyre @windvexer
Please feel free to give/reblog/repost this link to any other witches/witch-adjacent practitioners!
