Then all at once in between fall and winter everything was complete. One story ends and another begins, or perhaps just a new chapter in the grand story of time. A silent night led to a glorious morning and everything was different. Good different. Never-want-to-go-back different. My love held my love.
Now the leaves are almost gone, and it snows every now and again. And my heart is fuller than it’s ever been. Christmas will be different this year. Fuller, slower, quieter. Better than it’s ever been since the first. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
And I’ll love you forever.
