A Plural Future Comic

we wish for a plural future.

and not in the way of wanting more people to have a dissociative disorder, but in the way of plurality being more accepted and known about.

and not just traumagenic plurality; all types of plurality.

everyone deserves a safe place to be themselves, which includes plurals of all kinds, no matter the origin.

we've known about our system for over 5 years now, and we've only managed to muster the courage to tell 2 people in our life about our plurality. we'd like it to be more, but we don't out of fear. fear of more abuse, fear of rejection, fear of abandonment, etc. Those fears are such common experiences throughout the system community that it's become a known problem, but by working to make the stigma around plurality disappear, we get closer and closer each day to a plural future. ♡

Is there a term for when someone wants to have an ID temporarily? Like if for example someone is trans 5-9 for a while but knows they will eventually shed that age and either transition into a different one or return to their chronoage.

If there isn’t a word for this already I thing “tempID” works well. Some examples are:

Fox is tempenby, they are non binary right now but will one day not be

隼人 is tempJapanese, he knows their identity shifts based on where he lives and is moving to China soon so they will likely be Chinese when he gets there

Melanie is tempwheelchairuser, she wants to be a wheelchair user for a few months and then no longer need it

Are there any radqueers in the dragon puppet community? I kinda want to make a radqueer dragon puppet account but idk if I’ll be chased out

For extra context I will be making that account regardless, but if there are other radqueers I will publicly list my dragons’ transIDs on the account alone with stuff like name, pronouns, gender, sexuality, personality, etc. (only in their dragon intro things)

As much as I love transID.org I have found an issue recently

No translanguage section, or at least not one I found. I’m not sure how to create new sections so if anyone does know how please remedy this!

As a translanguage thing I went on there trying to find my flags and could not find them, I am not transrace, transnationality, or transethnicity so those terms, while they may overlap for others, do not describe my experience.

I’m transfluentJapanese and transbeginnerpolyglot (I should be fluent in Japanese and be able to speak many languages a little but not perfectly), I’m also cisfluentEnglish but that feels like a background ID to me, like I technically have it but I don’t really care about it and wouldn’t mind if I somehow stopped being fluent in English

~ Start with developing your host, while they can change your host will be in front the large majority of the time ~

~ Don't encourage full switches, rather have alters be in co-con or co-front ~

~ If you do have another alter front, have the host stick around and watch them ~

~ Have the host usually alone and have other alters come in in times of stress ~
