Hallo there. If you'd like, you can follow my semester abroad blog at http://einberliner.tumblr.com/. Auf wiedersehen für jetzt!
The morning tradition of cinnamon buns and tea will continue even when my brother are both working from 7 to 3 thanks to my dad who arose at 6 o'clock to get it all started.
Christmas with the Cunninghams.
THIS. I can't get over this. Aaaacadcggbgbgb how is such sorcery possible?
To the anonymous questioner
Thank you for your critique. That was, as you might have guessed (or I hope you guessed if you are indeed a living, breathing human being with emotions!), not supposed to be comedic. It's all a learning process, and when I make mistakes, it only means I can learn from them the next time. Also, "anonymous" is a very pretty (and popular!) name and all, but you might want to go by your real one next time? A pleasant evening to you.
My head hurts, my stomach doesn't like me, and I need this semester to end so I can make like a tree and get the hell out!
***I interrupt this indulgent whine to say a very merry almost happy birthday to dear Sarbear Petro, a soon-to-be 20 year old who is much too far from Storrs, CT for my liking***
Back to work.
The Dilemma

You know what, whatever. I still think my gingerbread house was really good, OKAY SABRINA?
all I want for Christmas is to pregame the candlelight concert
Yes with our matching flasks which arrived on Monday, by the way. Winter break hurry up, I say, so we can get to our friends, flasks, and festivities!
Rejazz - Regina Spektor
Lizzy sang this at her senior recital in high school only a week after she and her boyfriend broke up. He was sitting in the audience and she looked straight at him.
He left right after.
EVERYONE COME HOME NOW
Home's not home without all of you guys!
Time for a break
Words cannot possibly express how excited I shall be to leave the premises in approximately 21 hours. Tonight's happenings include: study abroad orientation, going with Lizzy to a vocal major party "drunk songfest," and seeing Niall play sax at the jazz night at Lu's.
This weekend
We actually won a football game. And this beauty of Joe was created.
Ryan and I were overcome with hunger Saturday night, so we went to Stop & Shop and bought one of those ready to go roasted chickens (with a touch of honey!). We gobbled it down in the parking lot and had “midnight reverie” chocolate for dessert (he’s a huge fan of the dark stuff). I also got a loaf of bread from the bakery. Ryan can’t have gluten, but I can. And I did. No regrets.
Went to New Jersey for our final exhibition of the show. Didn’t get back until 3 o’clock this morning. (As you can imagine, waking up was really fun.) Joe was convinced the marsh adjacent to the MetLife Stadium contained multiple dead bodies, and now and again we’d get a pungent whiff of…who knows what exactly? Reminded me of BTXI when we crossed the border into Jersey and all of a sudden, it just started to reek. I know there are nice parts that I need to see before saying the following…but I was reminded of Jess’s “diaper of America” comment and it really rang true.
