I'm Someone New // Julius and Serena (AU)
It was a butiful day that day. The clouds were out the sun was shining nothing could go wrong. Serena smiled as she walked around town. She loved days like this because it was like the day she started her pokemon journey and the day she ended it. She walked around town and watched as friends met and had a meal together. She frowned and watched as they talked and laughed.
She always wanted friends she could call up every once and a while. Serena often wishes she wasn’t the brat when she was younger because now she goes out alone often, never having any one but her pokemon to talk to and hang out with. Yes she had her friends she met on her journey but she never saw them that much.
Turning she continued to walk around town. “I wish I could go back in time and fix my childish behaviors.” She shied and watched her feet. Not paying attention she bumped in to some one. After catching her balents she apologized and looked at the figure in front of her. He had beautiful navy blue eyes and hair to match but for some reason she felt as if she met this person before. “I’m sorry to have bumped in to you but do I know you from some where?” She asked.
At 16, life seemed to go on and on mindlessly. Julius woke up with a large yawn and stretch of his long limbs. Dusknoir slowly appeared by his bed side and floated gleefully around it's trainer.
"Good morning," the boy with gorgeous gem eyes smiled up at the ghost, his kind expression received a knowing hum from his companion before he heard his mother call him down for breakfast. Hopping off his bed and slipping into a shirt so he wouldn't get yelled at by his mother for walking around half naked in November. Down the stairs and turning the corner, Julius was automatically assaulted by the smell of breakfast. Speeding up his pace, he greeted his family a good morning (pecking his adorable sister on the crown of her head of blond head and bowing respectfully to his father).
"Good morning," he greeted in his stoic, and low voice. His father exchanged him a lazily smirk while his mother fretted over the way his shirt was not tucked into his sleeping pants ("You'll get a cold that way Julius Victor Cohen!") His sister made grabby hands at him to which he bent down and allowed her to press a sloppy, jam covered, smooch on his pale cheek. Taking his seat along his loving family, Julius planned on how to tackle another boring day.

"It's getting colder now a days isn't it, Dusknoir?" A shade darker than navy blue squinted at the weak sunlight that peaked through the thick blanket of clouds. A breath of fog lined his lips as he exhaled warm air from his mouth, mingling with the icy air that surrounded him. He wished Lily (adored little sister) was with him at the moment because of the fact that she was basically a living heat pad. Shoving his finger-less gloves into his coat's pocket, Julius walked on until he bumped into something shorter than him. He had a hard time trying to dodge something he could barely see, being tall could be such a hassle sometimes.
"Ah, excuse me," he held onto the elbow of the short lady he had carelessly bumped into. A flash of blond hair and a soft smile brought his attention back to earth and out of the skies.
"S-Serena?"
