Um Game

D(um)b Game is an unusually participatory file.

It simulates a class in the speech pathology department of Unlearn University. In the process, it explains a simple speech rule that actually affects thought patterns.

It’s called the Um Game.

If you do the game as explained according the rules outlined, it will (temporarily) scramble your thoughts.

This is a fantasy construct, but one with possible real implications.

It’s a genuine explanation – but this explanation transitions conversationally into actual trance work. There is no clearly marked induction point.

There is no clearly marked awakener, and the file closes with encouragement to “loop” or listen again.

There are several points at which the dominant hypnotist calls and encourages direct audience participation through repetition and games.

Trance and manipulation techniques involved include binaurals, associative sound conditioning, peer pressure, mantric repetition, subliminally enhanced

Ericksonian techniques that highlight particular words (this may or may not be noticeable) manipulative language, and the intentional use of mnemonic devices (or “mindworms”.)

Subject matter that merits warning includes personality modification, IQ reduction, aggressive condescension, and sexual submission and service.

I'd consider this an "erotic horror narrative."  Think Black Mirror, but in the black mirror, there's really kinky sex instead of people being pissy about your cell phone.  There are eight different conspiracies unpacked, at a minimum.

The lore in the Deep Dream State audio drama is dense. There are storylines about how sense it is; it's lore-ception.

We're making sure that's navigable with a searchable glossary.

It's not done, but it's very very usable. It's fun to just peruse; think old school Monster Manual.

We're keeping it onsite, as opposed to using a 3rd party wiki. The goal is a workable model for other creators with intense worldbuilding, who might want some creative freedom. You might be one of those; you might just like intense lore. Either way, there's something there for you.

How does your garden grow? Is it neatly tended, or wild and untamed?

Garden

I'm personally very proud of Garden.  It's gentle and psychologically intense.

Flower, Korrupted Innocence, Baby Doll Tamara, LSD Lollipops, and Sugar all star.

It should be heavily content warned.  It's a narrative of gaslighting that gaslights the listener as well.  A partner steadily undermines his partner's sanity to make her more compliant.

Suggestions include obedience, stupidity, memory revision, appearance control, name control, exhibitionism, and sex work.  There is a line about "he needs to tell me how to be a girl" that should be flagged for the potentially dysmorphic.

Bloom

Bloom is the followup to Garden . I think it replicates the intensity of the original with much improved audio design. It is quiet on purpose.

It is a direct and applied narrative about gaslighting. It is a little bit different from other tracks. Any lewdness is implied, as opposed to directly incorporated into the action. This somehow makes it even more racy, in a way.

I’ve also been producing a lot of densely layered electronic and mechanical tracks. This is much simpler, with a focus on simple effects and psychological intensity. It aims for “dark music box” and I think it gets it right.

Just My Type : New Training From Neural Nets and Pretty Patterns

Just My Type shows us how Neuroplex is building the administrative assistants of the future. It keeps all the synthservs extremely linked in.

It follows the same progression as other Back Office training audios. Initially plausible corporate training takes a turn into an altogether different kind of training.
