Wow… I want to thank The Hole in the Head Review for seeing the potential in my first ever short film. I’m forever grateful to them because this work of mine holds a special place in my heart. I’ve always wanted to get it out there, and I’m excited to announce that the day has finally arrived. I filmed “Atom” about 9 years ago already, most of it all by myself with a little help from my friend Paul. That was around the same when we filmed a couple of short sketches and one other silent short film before we stopped. Other than a spoken word nature film I worked on alone soon after that, I hadn’t revisited making film until last year acting in a friend’s short, currently in post production. Before I received the news about this wonderful achievement, I decided to give screenwriting another go and began writing a very personal script at the beginning of this year all the while writing new poetry and balancing work, so it’s something to look forward to later during 2022. Please check out and watch the full film on their website by accessing the link in my bio under Films. Lastly, thank you if you’ve ever supported any of my art. Really. Film synopsis: A day in the life of a lonely man who has depression after a heartbreak. Will Atom’s self-reflection lead him down a dark, hopeless path or will he somehow find hope despite his loss? 🎶🎵 by @julioc_04 https://www.instagram.com/p/CZfmIN-rA2e/?utm_medium=tumblr
