Hi! I was reading through your posts and I have found that I relate to most of them, but I've never been diagnosed ADHD. I couldn't find any that asked about nervous tics, and I've had them since I was very little. Can that be related to ADHD?
Nervous tics aren’t related to ADHD, though they are related to anxiety. But people with ADHD do stim, which you may accidentally be mistaking for nervous tics.
Stimming is the word for self-stimulatory behaviour. Examples of stimming would be; bouncing your leg, tapping your fingers on things, playing with your hair, chewing gum, or anything like that which soothes you.
