And I can't seem to draw so I have asked my usual artist friend as I had commissioned with her! @temeyes I thank you again for creating her! Which is my NEW OC!
A Samoan EMT Woman who will get her hands dirty in order to protect her loves ones.
Tui Leilua was born in Samoa into a family that valued tradition, community, and resilience. From an early age, she learned Samoan customs, language, and values, ensuring that her heritage remained a core part of her identity even as life pulled her family abroad. She grew up alongside her older sister in a household filled with warmth and structure, learning lessons about responsibility, courage, and compassion that would shape her future.
When Tui was very young, her family relocated to Krimson City, USA, seeking better opportunities. Her father, Manu, secured a position as an EMT at the Krimson City Hospital, a role that became a source of inspiration for Tui. She watched him respond to emergencies with calm precision, courage, and unwavering dedication. These observations left a lasting impression: Tui saw firsthand the impact one person could have on the lives of strangers in crisis, and she decided early on that she wanted to follow a similar path.
Tragedy struck on her eighth birthday during a beach outing. While swimming in rough waves, Tui was swept out to sea. Her father dove in to save her, managing to bring her to safety but losing his life in the process. Before passing, he pressed a small keepsake necklace into her hand, telling her it would give her courage whenever she felt afraid. This event left a deep mark on Tui—shaping her sense of responsibility, her courage under pressure, and her dedication to protecting others.
After returning to Samoa with her mother and sister, Tui carried her father’s lessons and memory with her. When she came of age, she returned to Krimson City to pursue her dream of becoming an EMT, determined to honor her father’s legacy. Though her mother supported her cautiously and her sister remained distant, Tui’s resolve never wavered.
During her EMT training, Tui developed a unique combination of skills:
Medical Competence: Mastery of emergency care, trauma response, wound stabilization, and first aid.
Physical Endurance: High stamina, strength, and agility, allowing her to carry patients, climb, run, and navigate dangerous environments.
Mental Resilience: Ability to remain calm under pressure, make quick decisions in chaotic situations, and think creatively to solve unexpected problems.
Environmental Awareness: Keen perception of hazards, potential escape routes, and hidden threats.
Her training and early career shaped Tui into a professional who could act decisively in life-or-death situations, while also demonstrating compassion and empathy for those in need. Her Samoan heritage and cultural grounding provided her with emotional resilience, a deep sense of duty, and a connection to family values that guided her decisions.
It was during her early work as an EMT that she met Mikael Rivera. His playful demeanor and respect for her professionalism gradually drew her in, and their relationship blossomed into a supportive partnership. Mika became both a confidant and a source of emotional stability, reinforcing her strength while she faced the demands of her career.
