As for the extracurricular activities, the organizations accommodate the social and skill-related needs of the students. One example for this is the organization that I am a part of, Intrepide Dance Troupe (IDT). We practice our skills in dancing while learning lessons from it such as discipline, coordination, and cooperation. The events organized by the school are carefully planned and successfully executed, the Intramurals has followed the set date, time, and the games it will include. As a participant of the dance competition, I was glad that the other students are cheering and are very enthusiastic when it comes to supporting every participant; this goes for other sports like badminton, basketball, table tennis, and volleyball as well. The venues for these events are suited for the specific needs of each sport.
And as June comes, the new school year will begin. My expectations and preconceptions about TIP has been met and exceeded. The classrooms are air-conditioned and they are big enough to accommodate the right number of students for effective learning and discussion. The interior of the facilities, specifically the classroom, is not distracting and increases our focus. The computer laboratory provides a one to one ratio for the students and the computer units to ensure that the students will learn from hands-on experience. The venue for PE classes is appropriate for practicing the physical activities we follow (in terms of surface area), such as arnis and Philippine indigenous games.
Expectations About TIP
Being a new student, I expect, with regards to its outstanding reputation, that TIP’s facilities are top notch, the learning environment and classrooms are comfortable and is ideal for the best learning experience. Also, the teachers are qualified (as they are all college graduates) to teach and help us learn about the subjects they will teach. Though the tuition is above the average tuition for SHS schools, I thought that it will all be worth it, and it is!
How i found out about TIP
Looking for a school which caters quality education at an affordable price is quite a challenge, luckily, during my time in junior high, at a career caravan, TIP introduced itself to us. During the career caravan TIP talk about the tracks they offer (Academic-HUMSS, STEM, ABM, Marine) it got our interests because many of my friends want to pursue engineering courses and TIP is the best choice for such, and my brother who is still studying at TIP encourage me more to choose this school knowing that this will be a great experience for me.
