Day 12:  Best player at the game of thrones - Petyr Baelish

The best player of the game is Littlefinger, hands down.  You think it's Tyrion?  He's good but he's just a pawn.  Cersei Lannister?  Pawn.  Lord Varys?  Pawn.  They're all just pawns in Littlefinger's cyvasse game.

Day 10: Favorite bastard - Obara Sand

Obara Sand is the bastard daughter of Oberyn Martell and some Oldtown whore.  Unlike other known bastards, she never whines about her mother's unknown identity. She's a fighter who launches into action before devising any strategy.  She kind of reminds me of myself sometimes.

Oh, and I'd absolutely want Michelle Rodriguez to play her role in the series.  A huge thank you to those who made this dreamcast photo.

Day 8: Most exciting POV - Cersei Lannister

Seriously, my face lights up whenever I read Cersei's chapters.  Maybe because I like the way she thinks.  Her rantings and her sex escapades are also quite amusing.  Oh, and Cersei may be the only character who gives the readers a glimpse of the thoughts and actions of Joffrey or whoever it is who's sitting on the Iron Throne.  When Cersei talks, you pay attention.

Day 6: Characters you wish would interact - Cersei Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen

As far as I know, these two haven't had the chance to talk to each other face to face.  A conversation (or confrontation, why not?) between them would be golden because they're both strong, gritty, intelligent women who are fighting for the right to the Iron Throne.

Day 4: Character you grew to love that you previously hated/were indifferent to - Jamie Lannister

So get this. I've hated Jamie Lannister since the first episode of S1, when he pushed poor Bran out the window.  Towards the end of the season, when Robb captured him and took him prisoner, I only despised him more.  But that was when I still hadn't read the books.  Jamie's POV chapters in ASoS taught me that he is indeed one misunderstood character.  He's not really that evil.  He's just a sarcastic guy who likes a bit of trouble.  He only acts that way because of his love for Cersei.  I liked him more when he met Brienne because I think that she really changed him, but that's another story.  I'm getting way ahead of myself.

Day 3: A scene you want to see on the show - Brienne and Jamie in the bath tub

Oh, oh, this scene definitely wins.  Brienne taking a bath when Jamie suddenly enters the room and gets in the tub with her.  Being a hardcore JamiexBrienne shipper, this is one of those scenes that made me swoon like a lovestruck teenager. 

I opted to choose a minor scene from the book because the major scenes will surely be included in the show.  Minor scenes are not so safe.  GRRM, Benioff and Weiss, pleeeease do not remove this from season 3.

Day 2: Character you feel the need to protect - Sansa Stark

Sansa has been getting a lot of unwarranted hatred from fans. She gets blamed for every mistake--she wants to marry Joffrey, she hasn't done enough to save Ned, she doesn't take Sandor Clegane's offer to escape King's Landing with him, she waits for so long to escape with Ser Dontos, she flees with Littlefinger to some godforsaken place.  Cut her some slack.  She's just a kid after all.  People need to understand that Sansa is not as feisty as her little sister Arya.  We would know her choice between fight or flight.  She's primarily a cautious person; one who has no intentions of using violence to survive.

Bottomline is, Sansa is a good girl who does nothing but symbolize blind optimism.  She doesn't deserve all this hate.

Day 1: Favorite location - The Eyrie

The Eyrie is the ancient seat of House Arryn and it is described as being situated thousands of feet above the valley floor.  Both in the series and in the books, it is the only place, aside from Tarth, that thrills me and makes my imagination go wild.  I can easily visualize it as strikingly beautiful especially in the winter season.  It is a highly strategic location in times of war and the castle itself is impregnable.  I think that it's a wonderful place and not even the cuckoos Lysa and Robert Arryn can ruin its grandeur.
