imo, the least realistic part of this talking horse show is that LA would freak out so hard over a serious earthquake. surviving northridge emboldened this city. we lack survival instinct now. the only thing that scares us this much is rain.

loose predictions for s4:
Unnamed Teenager/Young Adult is not actually bojackās kid
(like on the office, when erin was not phyllisās kid)
upon this revelation, he will consider sleeping with her but ultimately choose not to. we will consider this character growth.
toddās exposure will increase and heāll get more complicated, just as it has in all past seasons.Ā
weāll gain insight into mr. peanutbutter as an individual, and into his relationships with others. isnāt his marriage to diane his fourth? something caused problems those other times, and sheer numbers point toĀ āsomethingā beingĀ āhim.ā
diane will feel bad about her work. she will project that anger outward at the people supporting her in it. she will, in particular, say things to herself along the lines of what bojack (i think?) said to wayne-or-dwayne, her ex who wasĀ āwriting a buzzfeed articleā on mr. peanutbutterās house.
this season will feature bojack making changes, and his absence also causing change. next season (if we have one! do not want to jinx it) will examine his attempt to make amends.
kelsey will appear in some of toddās shenanigans. she also might film bits and pieces for girlcroosh.

during this speedy rewatch, i am mostlyyyy planning to avoid the scenes where bojack grooms penny, but her reaction to seeing her crush is priceless:

the horse being bojack's sister would be interesting because I feel like bojack has wondered how different he'd be if he hadn't been raised by his parents- like was he really broken from birth or did his parents break him while they were raising him? so if he met a sister who was raised by another family, bojack would compare his life to hers because she has his genes.
right! lots of that nature vs. nurture stuff. tho also brings up a lot of his issues w/women. like, would he be able to treat her like a younger person? or would he expect her to mother him the way he expects other women to mother him?
