Ah.. The saying that you need to make friends with good people. Adults say this all the time when youâre young.Teachers, neighborhood adults, mom and dad.. They all say the same thing. To make good friends.Honestly, that one saying is 100% correct. You know how adults say lots about the future and warning you about things, but friends.. You really need good friends. And when they say that, itâs not so much about avoiding bad friends who lie, steal, cheat, and betray you..But itâs more about meeting good friends. Meaning friends who will stay by your side when you are struggling and nobody is supporting you. Who will do that and still know to be honest with you about your faults. You need lots of these friends, and if you donât have friends like this, then no matter how many people you know or connections you have, you will ultimately end up lonely.

Special : YG FAMILY's Second Cover Project, 'TABLO X TAEYANG'
Original Interview Here
Q: Tablo, where did you get your inspiration for this cover project? A: As you can see with the verse âwith your pretty red lips, hurry kill me and go,â I felt that this song had a dark and violent feel, rather than a light/superficial one. I was attracted to that aspect of the song, so I expressed it in my own way through my reinterpretation.
Q: What would you say is the main âpointâ of your cover? A: Itâs like the ugly, younger twin of the original song?
Q: It has such a new feel itâs like an original piece. We can feel so much of your hard work/effort. A: I worked as though I was writing an original song. I wrote new lyrics and made a new hook, DJ Tukutz created a track that was darker and different from the original, and Taeyang sang the original bridge and climax, but with a new feel. I wanted to give the fans a gift that would feel like a welcoming surprise. Plus, itâs not like weâre the type of people to do a typical cover song anyway.
Q: Favorite verse from the lyrics? A: âThey say time flies, but you keep breakinâ its wings.â
Q: What thoughts did you have about Taeyang as an artist while working with him for his album RISE? A: I think the most fitting word is âreal/genuine.â
Q: What song do you recommend from Taeyangâs album RISE, and why? A: âRise,â âLet Go,â and âLove You To Death.â You know the reason whyâŚ
Q: When can we see Epik Highâs next album, or your solo album? A: Epik Highâs 8th album is under completion. We will meet again when the time is right.

korean - english translators needed

When I went through the TaJinYo incident, I experienced extreme loneliness. There werenât many people by my side. There were definitely people supporting me in silence, but those who spoke up were few. The people who had so loudly showcased our friendship rejected my hand for help while taking notice of the public. The first company who ignored such opinions and first reached out their hand to me was YG.

Yes. Thereâs music with a BPM of over 128, right? When we released songs like Fly, ííěë (Day of Peace), and Fan, there were almost no teams who rapped to that kind of tempo. Those kinds of songs increased when Big Bang released ęą°ě§ë§ (Lies), but for people who donât dance to that kind of BPM, itâs very unsettling. Itâs also hard to ride the groove. Big Bang are able to bring those songs to life because they dance well, but for us, because we have such stiff bodies, those types of songs make us uncomfortable. (laughter) We fumble around, not knowing what to do, if we donât have a prepared choreography.

Tablo, when asked whether how he would feel if there was a meeting with Woollim | HipHopLe interview [trans: [email protected]]Â
I met Mithra during that winter break I previously mentioned. I met Tukutz in the summer of 2002 after I returned from my studies. Before that, I already had Tukutzâs mixsets that Jaeyu hyung sent me. At that time I also liked Dilated Peoples, so I thought âYeah! You need a DJ to be hip-hop,â and met up with him as soon as I returned. He wasnât originally a member. Before our contract, he was just going to be a guest DJ in our 1st album. And because the CB Mass DJ was also doing it⌠Tukutz said he wanted to be a member just before our contract was made⌠(explosive laughter) smart rascal.

[âŚ]I had worked part-time jobs regularly when I came to Korea for the summers, and I suddenly received a call from JYP asking if I was interested in doing music⌠I even came to an impromptu audition. (laughter) I didnât completely reject the possibility, but back then I had no thoughts of seriously pursuing a musical career.

Is there anything about that time that hasnât been exposed yet? I donât have anything to add, as Iâve already been sliced open on the cutting board.
