wanted 2 let u know ur posts kind of inspired me 2 disengage from my fandom. i have been in my fandom for about 7 years now and am decently known but what u said in reply to ur last ask rlly struck me, bc i was thinking abt why fanart etc was fully not valuable 2 u but the more i thought about it the more i agree, and my time engaging w my fandom on twitter was unhealthy in the same manner u were referring 2. ty for the insight and for what it’s worth tho admittedly very little i appreciate your previous works despite the fact that you find little interest in them
good 4 u lol! i think u can just have a lot more fun talking to creatives irl & the communities r a lot more fulfilling (I think theres a big draw for online art communities tho in america especially given how expensive making friends as a young person can be). Fanart doesnt interest me anymore as a creative outlet bc i dont think ur ideas should ever be limited by a focus on an ip& having more involved influences is good for u like eating better quality food lol. Its amazing if uve found it within urself to push ur boundaries past that ik it can be hard to see the downfalls of communities ur very comfortable in 🥲
