For being so handsome Cruz isn’t very photogenic

Not very easy getting him to stand far enough away for a good photo

Poor Cruz was such a good boy on his trip to the vets to be scoped - turns out he has grade 3 squamous and grade 2 glandular ulcers, which I’m hoping are the sole cause of some behavioural issues and problems with the canter he’s been having🤞🏼 he’s started a course of omeprazole injections so hopefully we’ll see a difference soon

Finally back in the saddle!

He seems to have forgotten a lot, like the aids for stop and go 🙄 but he is only 5 and has had two months off so I can forgive him, I never expected to pick back up where we left off

Now to find a bridle to fit his funny little head so he can stop wearing his hand-me-down, and look for a more grown up bit that he likes

Back when I could actually ride my horse 🙃

Trust me to fall off and break my arm a couple months after getting a new horse

And then as soon as I get the cast off, I go and get covid

But hopefully I’ll be back on board soon and we can get going for real 🤞🏼
