It saddens me every time I see Mike criticism or people saying how he was the weak link in the young ones. Firstly, there was no weak link, all the characters work perfectly together and bounce off each other so well. And secondly Mike is an icon. He has (arguably) some of the best lines in the show, and although he was technically based off Peter Richardson's style of character, I love the way Chris Ryan portrayed him. There's genuinely nothing to dislike about Mike, he fits in the show, no question.
