cathy kelley - demi and cathy had been dating secret since january, and since cathy’s coming out, demi has been openly showering her girlfriend with affection. they are the yin to each others yang, demi’s assertive nature a polar opposite to cathy’s more reserved and anxious one, and cathy’s ability to quiet demi’s racing mind. she wasn’t sure she’d ever love like this again, but she’s fallen fast and hard, and it almost scares her, but she’s also never been happier. the two tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony, and are more in love than ever before. they’d talked about kids and had some meetings, but when a beautiful baby boy called dylan needed a home, they both knew it was meant to be. they’re adjusting to this new life of parenthood, and juggling life on the road with life as moms. @ccthybennct

damian priest - luis is her very best friend, and more like a brother. he's the one she will always go to for advice, and the first number she'd call if she was in trouble. when cathy and demi's relationship was still secret, he was the only one she trusted with a secret like that. they hold each up other up, both personally, and professionally, and demi would love nothing more than for luis to reach the top of the proverbial mountain. @cryptstar

HEADCANONS

demi has an interesting relationship with alcohol. she's not an alcoholic, or at least she wouldn't say she was one. she can get through a day without a drink, but when she drinks she drinks to excess, usually blacking out and forgetting what she did the night before. her ex after buddy got her into certain unhealthy habits pertaining to drinking, and although it's been a couple years she's found it hard to get out of those habits. she tows the line of it being a problem for her, but she's aware that screwing up like that could cost her everything she has.

her relationship after buddy ended with infidelity, and is a large part of where a lot of her insecurity, and jealousy comes from. she wants to trust cathy, and she does to a degree, but there's always a part of her that's convinced she's gonna leave.

although she comes across as the most confident person in the room, demi is actually pretty shy, and still struggles with self doubt. she's been pretty open in the past about her mental health struggles, including body dysmorphia and self harm and though she's come a long way in learning to love herself, and being proud of what her body is capable of, the abuse she faces online still gets to her

it's definitely an adjustment, we never expected to get the call so quick but it was meant to be, it's like he was always meant to come to us. i love him.
