Plein Air featuring Egret, Turtle, and Ultramarine Blue 💙

This was my first time trying to use acryla-gouache out in the wild, and it was definitely a challenge for me! I wanted to abandon this piece many times throughout its process. I found myself getting too uptight trying to color-match what I was seeing.

I eventually gave myself permission to have fun and to lean into my favorite bold color pops. Ultramarine and color pencils saved my day. So glad I didn't give up on this piece 💙
