“It’s been a while. I had a small hope that it wouldn’t hurt as much after some time had passed, but there’s still a hole in my heart…” Loki sighs, taking a seat on a nearby bench and looking up at the night sky. The streets are pretty empty tonight! A little strange, really. But Loki doesn’t mind much! It gives him time to speak his thoughts aloud without fear of judgement from the oblivious humans. “How am I supposed to cope? What is a person supposed do after they kill their best friend? I’ve been helping humanity like he wanted, but… It’s not the same without Balder here.”
While out on her daily night walk in the park and around town, the pinkette was mostly in her own head, thinking about the things she’d been through in her life. The calming sounds of the cars’ engines as they drove past the park helped in reassuring her that she was, indeed, in the safety of civilization.
As her hands were tucked deeply in her pockets, the top of her hoodie was pulled over her head to mask out any conversations she might hear on her stride, her long, pink, and wavy hair simply fell loosely across her chest while the wind played with it every once in a while. But what a fat load of good that did her. Arianna had seen a lad on a bench with long flaming red hair in her peripheral vision, but what caught her attention was his conversation with himself. //Balder...? As in.. The Balder...?// The name caused her to stop in her tracks and simply look puzzled over at him.
“Balder, you say..? As in Balder Hringhorni, the Norse God of Light?” Of course, she just had to ask the question...
