The Rise of the Powers of X

I am pretty disappointed with how the ending of Krakoa was handled. An event with very little cohesion between 5 or 6 titles is not what I expected from the spiritual successor of HoxPox, and to be honest, it kinda betrays what made HoxPox great in the first place. Still, despite that, there's things to be appreciated. And so here's my sincere praise of RB Silva's glorious art. Very few are able to pull action filled sequences and reach emotional highs like him. The fact that he wasn't the artist for the very final issue is a total bummer, and indicative of the editorial mess around the whole event. But at least we got his cover showcasing the rise of Phoenix.

Marvel's December 2023 solicitations

These were my favorite covers from this batch. It's always an exciting day when solicits drop. The Fall of X seems heading towards an even grim turn and I hope that Immortal and Red may last until they reach issue #20.

Mother Righteous is probably my favorite modern x-men villain. I don't see her as an extention of Mr. Sinister, the writers made a good work on setting them apart as completely different characters, especially since ot was revealed she is a clone of Rebecca Essex.
