Here MekanipTheDragon's peeking through your door and offers you a book he wrote! Will you open the door?
This is Happy Birth Day Gift for the @mekanip Was interesting experience to draw scales in details, but I opted to render only most prominent features due to time limitation. But I like the result, hope you'll enjoy it too.
(Context, timelapse, and non-blood version beneath the cut!)
The two exchanged a flurry of blows one last time; Hironh caught his foe's descending talons and yanked him aside, giving him a perfect opening to rake his talons across Ighen's chest. The wound tore deeply into the muscles that were so vital for flight, causing Hironh to bare his fangs in triumph.
But then the red dragon abruptly lunged forth, heedless of his wounds, and bodily slammed into his foe before tearing at his wings. Hironh hissed in fresh pain as he kicked Ighen away, sending them flying apart before his foe could inflict too much damage.

A gift for my friend Sol for finishing the final draft of his novel!
Here Vincent Cordel celebrates Appreciate A Dragon Day on top of huge inflatable @mekanip ppoltoy. Don't mind Tuls, he literally swims in his own tears! What a joy!
Here @mekanip enjoys warmth of early morning Sun. Cold stone is comfy bed for a dragon, but new adventures come. So breath in crispy fresh air, get it settle down and feel the beams of gentle warm light and welcome the new day
They are a bit confused by this construct where Dr. Alexander Pryce is sitting in. He explains it is bouncy so it is comfortable inside when you travel. And young Rantha hopped into cargo bed to jump and ask to give her a ride. Of course elder Kharno wants to check this so called "Truck" is sturdy and safe enough for a kid to be in. Fasten the belt and be ready to do a few circles on the parking lot!

Qnaro never was the most respected dragon. His smaller frame, disgust in fighting and desire to explore world made others think he is strange. All changed one day, when birds "told" him something is wrong on one of the many tiny islands he discovered far out in the ocean. That's how he met Jane Callan - one of the survivors of the Horizon research vessel.
Here Qnaro show off his great abilities in flight. Smaller body does have advantages after all! Down below you can see the Horizon ship herself and the team of accompanying dragons heading towards human land.

All humans onboard of the Horizon ship love Kerak, despite he is a little trouble maker. And what is the best way to sustain young growing body, but a huge piece of steak?! Go little buddy! I believe you can make the dash!

A long-awaited cover commission for my friend Sol for the first book in his Emergence series, Here Be Dragons. You can read it here; he is uploading the rewritten chapters every Monday and Thursday, but you can also read the original pre-rewrite in its entirety. Close-up/non-obscured version of the photograph here.
For millennia, humanity thought the Mainland and its surrounding islands was the only substantial landmass in existence. That is, until the world’s first satellite launched and sent back images of two other continents in the far ocean.
The Horizon, first intercontinental sailing ship ever built, sets sail for the new lands with a crew of world-renowned experts. Nearly to new shores, disaster strikes during a freak storm, leaving the ship at the hands of a lone survivor: Dr. Alexander Pryce. Without the expertise of his colleagues, Pryce must survive in uncharted land while he waits for rescue, alone. Or so he thinks.
Ok so I don't know how tumblr works, but I guess I should introduce myself. I am MekanipTheWriter, and I wrote a thing. People seem to like that thing. It's a portal fantasy thing. And here is that thing: https://www.amazon.com/Chronicle-Lies-Sculptor-Fantasy-Isekai/dp/B0DMT4HLT2

Another finished commission for Second_Sol for his book cover! This one was definitely an experience for me considering I’ve never tried my hand at cities before. I think it came out well!

Was doodling last night and ended up making a sort of fan OC for Second_Solus’s story, Emergence, a story set in a fictional alternate earth with higher sea levels and focusing on the first contact between human and dragonkind. Set in a lot of grounded science, so my inner bio nerd enjoys it and the story itself is pretty interesting. Go check it out!
Set in an alternate Earth with much much more water, humanity believed they were the only ones existing in their lone island until their recently launched satellite revealed two different islands on the other side of the planet. It's a 'first contact' premise, and I can't recommend you this enough 👹! Lots of science involved in the writing so go check it out
