bro if i were george i'd leave the beatles as soon as they started bc imagine you have a best friend, you join a band with him and now said friend kinda has a new best friend? you write a love song with said friend and he chooses to sing the song with his new best friend, then starts writing songs only with him and suddenly its no longer paul and george but paulandjohn, you're still bandmates but your best friend kinda forgets about you. you're still like brothers but its kinda like your older brother got a girlfriend and doesnt have time for you anymore. maybe you'd expect him to come around eventually, but you'd have to wait 20 years, and he'd come back to you only becouse his best friend is no longer there
