“I was just getting some fresh air.” Well it wasn’t a complete lie. But Meichi probably didn’t want Kinoko to lament about thinking about the past.
“And you? Why are you here?”
Was it possible she could have a casual, peaceful conversation with the war angel…just like back then? Maybe not, but she could only hope.
“I was putting up a sign advertising the new show for the Circus tonight, nothing out of the ordinary.” Meichi spoke hard facts, as if there was going to be any turnout on a night like tonight, the previosuly mysterious preforming group had to get a little ”out there”.However, the summoner didn’t believe the transparency of Kinoko’s words.
“However, I think you may need to restate your answer a bit more truthfully.”
She had noticed the circus was trying to get attention lately. Nobody knew what it was really like, though. They just saw it as some show...but it wasn’t just that.
...of course she didn’t believe it.
“...fine. I was thinking about the past.” Meichi could probably tell what Kinoko was talking about: back when Kinoko had taught the other many things about summoning, and when they weren’t fighting against each other.
