Hi! My name's Vanya or Adam (he/him/his, qui/quim/quims). I'm using this blog to make and share AAC symbols. You can also use them as emoji. I don't mind. I don't use AAC myself, even during verbal shutdowns, but I like the colour blue and I want more blue AAC symbols. I might type weirdly because of stilted speech (autism) and disorganised thoughts (schizophrenia). If there's a way to reword things for clarity, tell me (ask box).

What are your preferences regarding AAC?

I want to use Makaton or Russian Sign Language (not Signed Russian) during verbal shutdowns but the best free resource for Makaton is a children's TV series and everyone in my area is #russophobic. Communication cards would be okay but I fear I won't be able to say everything I want to. AAC apps would be nice but the only one that lets me have a masculine voice is typing-only and sometimes even that is exhausting.

I want to know more about you.

I'm the host and core of a system! I'm also radqueer (I identify more as pre-radqueer) and a cat therian. My favourite colour is blue. I like horror movies and comedy movies and funny 2000s TV, like FlashForward and Scrubs.

What can I request?

Anything! Any phrase or term. You can request things that are sexual, political, vulgar, or completely neutral.

How far are you into Warriors?

I have finished Into the Wild and am currently reading Fire and Ice. I read in order of publishing.

Why haven't you been posting?

Depressive episode, education, or art block. I haven't forgotten about this blog.

My dad seems to have bought me AAC biscuits.
