What kind of birthmarks do you think the team would have? Any scars too?
Actually wait a second I just had a brilliant idea. God. Everyone has a birthmark on the body part that corresponds to their placement in Voltron because WHY NOT.
Hunk has a big birthmark on his inner upper left thigh that he sometimes feels embarrassed about because itâs hard to cover up when heâs in underwear/swimming trunks.
Lance has a birthmark on his right leg that he swears looks like a dolphin (it doesnât). He also has a fainter birthmark on his right bicep.
Pidgeâs birthmark is on her left arm, on or around the joint of her elbow.
Keith has two birthmarks; one on his right arm, and one on the top of his head, covered by his hair.
I love the idea of Alteans having sick as hell birthmarks (blame @notllorstel) so Allura has tons of birthmarks all over her body, but she definitely has an extra special spiral one on her right leg and one on her chest/over her heart (because sheâs the heart of voltron lol text it). I wanna be extra cheesy and have one of her birthmarks be heart shaped so I will lol.
Shiroâs birthmark is on the back of his neck, near the base of his spine.
Shiroâs are a given, of course. Itâs why he wears so many layers as well as long-sleeved clothes; his scars are everywhere, and he covers them so he can avoid them and so people donât stare. Iâm not going into the details.
Keithâs hands are scarred from a lifetime of him fighting with his hands and playing around with knives. He also has some scars on his knees from all the somersaults he does. 90% of his scars are scrapes that wouldâve healed normally but he was too lazy to treat them so they ended up scarring.
Pidge and Hunk also have scars on their hands by virtue of working with sharp machinery (though Hunkâs are a little better since he tries to weak gloves.) Pidge also has a scar on her upper lip because she tried to eat something Matt accidentally left out when she was a baby. Hunk has a scar on his tummy where he had to get his appendix out.
Lance has all the normal misc scars from childhood tumbles, but his back got beaten to hell and back (lol) by that explosion he shielded Coran from. The cryopod healed him, yeah, but the human body isnât really made for rapid fire healing so a web of scar tissue was left behind. Itâs not terrible, but heâs a little self-conscious about going without his shirt (until everyone tells him it looks badass, upon which he embraces it full heartedly.) I also love the idea of Lance having a tiny scar that kind of bisects his left eyebrow, though he refuses to say where he got it from.
Alteans are notoriously hard to kill so any scars they have are Big ones. Coran, having been an active soldier/bodyguard for a few hundred years, definitely shows it. His hands have definitely seen better days, and he has a chest/gut scar that no one ever asks him about. His mustache hides a scar that bisects his top lip, and his nose will always be a little crooked.
Allura has faint scars on her arms from where Haggarâs magic burned her, as well as a deep scar on one of her upper thighs from where one of the Batshit animals on Altea swiped at her.
