Sundays were always grocery days. Neither Bluebelle or her mother worked on Sundays and they tended to only keep their cabinets stocked for a week or two to make sure their food was always fresh, so Sundays were always designated as the day to go down to the market and purchase groceries for the week. Sometimes the mother and daughter would go together, but when Eden awoke that morning feeling a bit under the weather, Bluebelle decided it to be best to go on her own.
As she strolled through the marketplace, a basket of fresh food in hand, Bluebelle gazed up and down the kiosks. She stopped at the kiosk selling fresh strawberries, trying to pick out the best looking bunch when she noticed someone else standing nearby. She turned to them, noticing they too were also browsing the strawberries, “Did you want some, I’d be happy to buy you a package?” she offered with a kind smile.
