The mortal enemies storyline was being set up at this stage. But August 2012 Louis had just bought the Barnet house and Harry had just bought Erskine (in addition to a condo he’d reportedly bought earlier).

I don’t think she’s directly blaming Louis for the cancellation of the Philly show. It’s more likely she’s taking it out on his team. But that doesn’t change the fact that a comment like that shows a complete lack of understanding of how these things work in such situations and how difficult it is to make such decisions at short notice. Seriously, I can’t believe how clueless some people are. Didn't she see the dozens of photos and videos shared by the fans there, and even by his team? How can she even think it was just a simple case of rain? I wasn’t even there, yet it was obvious that this was something far more serious and potentially dangerous for everyone, and that the decision to cancel the show was the only one they could have made for the safety of the fans, Louis, his crew and everyone else involved in one way or another. The weather conditions at the two concerts aren’t even remotely comparable.

Also, "(Seriously no judjement)"? Girl, please. It must be ragebaiting because, straight afterwards, she does exactly that and goes on to judge the situation with one of the daftest takes an adult could possibly have on the subject. Not to mention that a single sentence like that is enough to stir up toxic solos and pit one fandom against another. Gosh, she is really unbearable.

That's how I imagine him. Soft-spoken, very sweet, but messy and playful. He probably loves to cook and go on hunt for the best products to cook fine dishes. I also think he's pretty tidy, but not like obsessively tidy. I think he loves to laugh and just have fun, he probably throws some weird jokes nobody understands, and he is just fun to have as a friend. I think he watches loads of movies and series, like he's probably interested in arts in general in any form. He probably loves to go sightseeing, but he maybe already checked all the most famous spots and monuments around the world, so he's now always looking for the most underrated exposition or walk.

He sure is a music enthusiast, so he would attend a concert or a festival every time he can. But he also loves sports, it's probably a lifestyle for him.

I can picture nights on the couch binge watching a series or mornings at the produce market or just endless conversations in front of a pasta dish and a glass of red.

I can picture club nights too, dancing at a concert or just some beers with his friends, who probably can't believe how lucky they are for having Harry as a friend.

Hey sugar! Sorry, this post took more time than I expected, but my intention is to give you an answer as thorough as possible.

I have seen many attempts to debunk All Along, but honestly this is the first time I see someone trying to connect the song to the concert that Ed Sheeran held in Manchester in November 2012, since both larries and (some) antis, solos, Elounor shippers & any other subgroup exists in fandom today have always agreed that the concert to which Louis refers is the one that Ed did in October 2011 (whether it was Harry or Eleanor that Louis held that night is another story, that we won't discuss here and now).

I think the person who “debunked” on Reddit has confused/mixed up dates and artists a little bit. So, I’m gonna try to put some order and sense in the events.

Louis and Eleanor are not at the Maroon 5 concert, as erroneously claimed here.

It's not the first time I've seen this pic though. For a couple of years, we collectively took as valid this statement (at the time it was obviously more difficult to debunk or prove something). Two years later a post corrected the previous one, saying that there was no Maroon 5 show in London or Manchester that night as well as in the rest of the UK in the last months of 2011.

If we take a look here, we can notice that in fact Maroon 5 had only six shows in the UK in that year and all in February.

However, they are wrong when they say that "that picture of Louis and Eleanor at a concert is from when they went to see Ed Sheeran a few months ago", meaning November 2012. Actually, the photo dates back to December 11, 2011, and they are not at Ed's concert, but they were attending the X Factor final in Wembley, London.

The final was held at Wembley Arena and lasted for over four hours, split over Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December 2011. One Direction performed with the JLS on the 10th, and played "She Makes Me Wanna" + "What Makes You Beautiful". Later that night, Harry, Niall, and Zayn attended JB's 25th birthday party.

Here is a photo with some fans taken on the evening of December 11, 2011, where we can see that Louis is wearing exactly the same outfit of the same sneaky pic taken by the fan inside the venue.

Timeline confirmed here too. And confirmed even in this Elounor masterpost.

The next day, on December 12, 2011, the band was at Pineapple Dance Studio (based in London) for their tour rehearsals. And thanks to this iconic tweet from Liam, we know that Louis is wearing the same outfit as he did the night before.

Harry also tweeted from the studios that same day, posting this photo of Zayn.

But we also have this photo posted on December 12, 2011 showing One Direction at Pineapple Dance Studio. Louis clearly had to change his shirt.

They will also return to the Pineapple Dance Studio on December 13, for more tour rehearsals. The rehearsals began in the morning and ended in the evening, as we can also guess from these photos, where it is evident that when they're leaving it is already dark outside.

On December 11, 2011, Ed Sheeran performed at T4's Stars of 2011 event, at Earls Court, London, with several other artists (photo proof here and here).

And he had a show in Manchester on December 5, but that day One Direction were already in the studio for some rehearsals for their upcoming Up All Night Tour, as Harry himself confirms with this tweet:

So yes, we can say without a doubt that the band was busy doing other things in those days, and that Louis could not have attended Ed's shows even if he wanted to. Not to mention that, if any of the fans saw Louis there (with El or someone else), we'd have definitely seen some pictures by now.

But let's move on.

In that post on Reddit, the commenter says that Louis and El attended Ed's concert sometime in November 2012 at O2 Apollo Manchester. According to this reliable source, Ed performed in Manchester on 1, 2 and 3 November 2012.

On November 1, 2012, One Direction were in Milan, guests of X Factor Italy, and that same day they did some promo interviews (including this memorable one with Radio Kiss Kiss) before flying that evening to Stockholm, Sweden.

Once again, it's Liam who confirms that they left and flew for Stockholm on the same day, with these two tweets from their private jet:

Harry too posted a photo from the plane after appearing on the Italian X Factor with the band.

The following day, November 2, 2012, the band hit the stage to perform on X Factor Sweden in Stockholm.

On the morning of November 3, they are still in Sweden and are interviewed during the Swedish morning news and talk show "Nyhetsmorgon" on TV4.

So, unless Louis has the gift of ubiquity, he would never have been able to attend any of Ed's three concerts in Manchester in November 2012.

yes, there’s proof and just be warned, because once you see all the timing you literally won’t recover. sorry this took so long, but i wanted to collect as much proof as possible to reeaaally fuck you up. :)

so the OTRA tour break was from april 5th to june 4th, and the boys all talked about doing a lot of songwriting while they weren’t on tour. remember how they mentioned multiple times during MITAM press that they split up and went with different outside writers and came back with a bunch of material? that was during this time.

the general fandom theory is that louis wrote home on april 14th, 2015, because that’s the song he wrote with liam and jamie, and he posted this on insta:

they’d been apart for less than two weeks at that point. the next day, harry pops up wearing the famous blue bandana in west hollywood:

and we assume it’s just a shout out to fandom, thinking that harry’s reassuring us that everything’s cool with them while louis is papped out at clubs every single night for weeks on end. not realizing that louis had just spent the day before writing what would become one of the most iconic relationship songs the band has done so far, and even made liam get all emosh:

we don’t know the exact day when iicf was written, as far as i know, but it was within those couple of weeks louis was supposed to be in LA and wasn’t. all we do know is that later, liam says he cried while recording it, anne says it’s her favorite, and louis says he cried too (DEATH!!!), and that harry has never, ever given an actual explanation of the meaning. here’s what he said in the track-by-track explanation:

The reason why a lot of us go to gigs or sport or anything like that is like you feel a collective intention. Everyone being in the room for the same reason and it's a really positive feeling and you get that every gig. I just think at my gigs that is that feeling of like it being really wholesome and like together, it's like really dialed up. It's a slightly different thing this — it's more about getting into the same space together and celebrating those moments together.
