Good luck art fighting, everybody! I'm gonna do my best!
New crazy idea: a set of VTT graphics made to be used with a virtual battlemap where the "map" is the sort of tetris-style inventory layout that old dungeon crawl video games have. There are plenty of games like this, but the one closest to my heart (or at least my memory haha) is the one from Might and Magic VII.
They'd be at some kind of standard size that slots together directly on a grid (like idk, 100x100px tiles) and you'd create your "map" out of a bunch of them, with one for each character and then like a central "shop" to keep extras.
I whipped this up at 5am so hopefully I can be forgiven for some inconsistancies!!! But this example was made for Ryuutama, so the idea was to use approximately two grid squares for each 1 item size, so a size 1 item would be two squares, a size 3 item would be six squares, and a size 5 item would be nine squares. characters start with 3+STR carrying capacity and can technically carry more than their capacity if they're willing to take penalties, so I figured you could just use a different color bg on some of them to show which were "overflow" and then adjust them as the character levels up.
In my dream world where I have All The Time to make this, I would also love to make a few different-shaped "mannequins" for that kind of paperdoll-style equipment system, with the hopes that people could use them as a base to draw on their own characters, hehe.
My character in a TTRPG. Behold my cringe ice fox ninja daughter!!!
Raised all her life in a remote village full of yokai ninja, Tsurara has recently become a teenager aware that the wider world is full of hardship and injustice -- troubles that she thinks her clan can and should help with. When her petition to throw off the yoke of secrecy and reach out to others fell on deaf ears, she left to seek out the other hidden villages herself. Her goal is simple: unite the ninja clans and save her homeland!
Speaking of commissions, if you'd like a character card like one of these, I have three slots open on my Ko-fi page.
I'm briefly offering them for $20 per card (+$10 for color) so I can gather some data! I've never used Ko-fi commissions before and I want to see the process is like and I want to get a solid handle on how long these cards take to complete and send out. (If you have feedback, especially if anything is unclear, please let me know!)
They're ink and marker on cardstock and they're mailed in a trading card sleeve secured inside a greeting card. There's no shipping cost right now since I've already got stamps and supplies.
Slowly improving my animated avatar! Testing out complex animations (taking notes/blushing), subtle idles (hearteyes and starry eyes) and simple stills (chinhands)
I LOVE making these. If I offered commissions for them, I wonder if anyone would be interested. (These are considerably oversized; they're meant to look good as stuff like Discord/Twitch emotes.)

I've always really liked modular animation, and so I have finally decided to try to learn to use Live2D -- I've tinkered with it before, but I've never rigged a full model, so that's my goal!
But to learn how to rig a model, I thought, I'll need a model to rig! So I'll just design a vtuber!
But if I'm going to design a vtuber, I have to put my whole effort into it! I'll need to carefully think about the themes and the niche they would fill, and make a stream overlay for them, and vtubers should have lore, right? and...
...and that's how I get a week into my goal of learning Live2D without ever opening the program, haha.
I don't know if I'll ever really want to stream, but I really enjoy the artistry of all of it -- so many cute little bits and bobs to design. But I'm pretty self-conscious about my first attempt to design a vtuber. Where does one even go to get feedback about that sort of thing? I have no idea. ;_;
They are a blue-jay-themed dragon with a soft and cozy vibe and a magical book (or magical library, maybe?) Probably they have come from the heavens to explore the mortal world through stories. And Minecraft. (As ya do.) I imagine probably they could stream some art and maybe talk about tabletop rpgs and writing advice.
They don't have a name because I'm bad at names. :')

Once again: thank you so much for your patience. Tumblr's new post format absolutely destroyed my blog and I can't figure out how to use the legacy editor anymore, so I had to find the only working blog theme anywhere on Tumblr that--
You know what? You don't wanna hear this. Have an item card. Love ya. 💙

I really disliked the other one. Pardon all the posts -- I have to find a new theme because Tumblr broke my old one entirely.
