If I had given you any other impression, know this: I have no faults with who you are, or whichever path you decide to take. Regardless of my dislike of your actions, I've no intentions of altering who you are as a person. It would be foolish to try and change something I take pride in.
uryu looked at his father for a moment, really looked at him. the words that he had spoken were something that the young man had longed to hear, but now that he had he didn’t know a single thing to say.
he could say thank you and that would be that, but he didn’t think that was enough, but he also didn’t want to go too far and become over emotional over what was spoken.
so, to be the middle ground, uryu went up to the elder and wrapped his arms around him and pulled him close.
