I heard gun shots. Jumped on my bicycle and headed toward the noise. My friend and I roll up to a Lowe’s parkinglot and see officers taping off the scene. Some dude in a yellow shirt saw what happened. He said a few cars and a white truck boxed this guy’s car in and opened fire. We got there before the EMTs. The police arrested some tall fat motherfucker. Total sting operation. If a cop has a mask, you’re fucked. #Orlando

i’ve worked with a lot of universities that use the “consent is sexy” motto, and i get why they do it (it’s a marketing thing). but i do think it downplays the absolute necessity of consent. consent isn’t important because it makes things sexier. it’s important because it prevents rape.
