Spoilers for new chapter....

Man seems like it’s another chapter with no Eren or Eremika, I’m sorry to be such a mood killer but I’m starting to feel very “lonely” (idk if that makes sense lol.) within this series, every other character is present except for Eren and he’s my comfort character, it’s beginning to become uncomfortable for me and unbearable? There’s 2 chapters left after 137 so just when will we able to see Eren?

Now that the rumbling has stopped, there is more room for revelations to take place in the last two chapters. We will probably see Eren next chapter and EM confrontation.

Keep in mind that Isayama said that Eren and Mikasa separating for long is not good for them 👀

Making him wait like this is just cruel.” Gran-Gran’s voice lacked the edge that normally signaled true annoyance, but it was close enough for Sokka to keep his mouth shut. “She’s my little girl, I have the right to take all the time I need before I decide. If he’s serious about wanting my blessing, he’ll wait,” Hakoda said, crossing his arms and glaring into the hut’s fire pit, much like he’d been doing all day. Sokka rolled his eyes and went back to keeping watch out the door flap. Earlier that morning Zuko had pulled both him and his dad aside and expressed his intention to ask for Katara’s hand in marriage. He even produced a hand-made betrothal necklace carved from a shell he’d kept since their time on Ember Island all those years ago. Sokka hadn’t been too surprised about the intended proposal, but the bastard had the audacity to be a pretty decent craftsman and that just didn’t seem fair. He himself was on his third attempt at a betrothal necklace for Suki. “He’s a king. I’m beginning to think your standards are too high.” “He’s the Fire Lord, Gran! She’ll be the Fire Lady. My little girl could turn Fire Nation.” “Nonsense,” she snapped. “Katara is the epitome of Water Tribe and proud of it. Besides, she already spends most of her time there with the boy. Marrying him won’t change much.” His dad grumbled something and Sokka rolled his eyes again. The sun was setting and just when he began to wonder where two love birds were to be out so late, they appeared from over a rise. Strolling arm in arm, they paused to look up as the snow flurries turned to thick, fluffy flakes. Zuko said something and suddenly Katara was laughing. She looked happy. The kind of happy Sokka always knew she deserved to be. After their mom died, after their dad left to fight in the war, even during their escapades with Aang and after– he had this quiet idea that someday, somehow, he’d make sure his sister found happiness. Because if anyone deserved to be happy, it was her. So if being with Zuko was what she wanted, then he’d damned well be sure to protect them. Sokka stood and stretched casually as he walked toward his brooding father. “Dad, give it a rest. You know just as well as I do that she’s going to marry him with or without your blessing. You might as well be happy with them.” Hakoda looked up from the fire, sad and rueful. “I know, son. There was never really a question.”

Crying because I just found out that Bean deleted her blog. I just finished reading her post and I must say, she is 100 percent right. Tumblr has become a social platform for “hate breeding” and the likes, which is really sad. I have admired Bean’s work for the past year and a half and it makes me sad that because of some close-minded individual(s) we lost one of the most amazing Zutara artist on here AND on DeviantArt. In all honesty, the picture was not as racially insensitive as some other choice postings that I have seen. Nevertheless, I am not watering down the situation, but simply allowing thought provocation to a better way it all could have went down. People seem to think that if you sit behind your computer/phone screen and type your opinions, it makes it OK to bash on someone else. All it does is prove how much of a coward - and, quite frankly, simpleton - you truly are. Bean, if by some MIRACLE you happen to stumble upon this post, please remember that we stand behind you 100 percent. We love you and admire who you are on here and would never discourage you for being YOU. You have 23 years and a job in the medical field with an original style of art adored by many! Zuko being the main guide to Azula's redemption arc would be a perfect fuck off to Ozai.

I know!   Just like Zuko’s lightning redirect was a perfect fuck you, not only from him, but also from Iroh. It was a way to say that look, he’s not broken, he’s stronger than you could ever imagine. Love was better than fear. And the cherry on the cake was Aang using the same move.

I am 100% on board for Zuko to be the main factor in Azula’s redemption arc. After all, their dysfunctional sibling relationship is the consequence of Ozai’s abuse. Turning it around and becoming the kick-ass team they are meant to be - would be the perfect way to undo Ozai’s legacy.

Imagine Azula visiting her father in his cell. He’s heard whispers about her, but doesn’t know for sure whether it’s really true that she reconciled with her brother. Maybe she’s just playing a game to get the throne. He thinks perhaps she came to get him out, to help him in whatever stupid conspiracy he is trying to orchestrate against Zuko. And Azula just stares at him, unreadable.

When Ozai realizes he has no power over her, he tries to go back to the old dynamics. He threatens. “I see, you are a failure after all, just like her brother. All this time I thought you were my true heir, but you are no better than Zuko. Agni gave you something exceptional but you were too weak for your gift. But it’s not too late. You could still prove yourself and I’ll give you what you want.”

And Azula just gives him one of those little dismissive smiles and tells him “I’m not interested in proving anything to you, Father. You have no idea what I want anyways. When I wanted to be a part of something meaningful, you gave me a worthless title in an empty palace. You weren’t there when I needed you, Zuko was. I realized that it doesn’t matter if I’m better than him, as long as we make each other better. We are a team and a family, and we are rebuilding this country you almost destroyed.”

“You are just children, the Avatar’s puppets - the people want a real ruler. You‘ll see,” Ozai hisses.

“Oh, I suppose you mean your pitiful little conspiracy?” Azula yawns.  “Really, Father, did you think those half-wits of yours could ever outplay me? Don’t you know I’m THAT good?

Ozai looks at her really frightened, knowing the horrible penalty for treason. But Azula just waves. “Oh, don’t worry. Zuko is not interested in making a martyr out of you. You will stay here, alive, forgotten by everyone.”  

Ozai shouts insults at her as she walks away. “You pretend to be so strong, but I’ve heard the truth. You lost your blue flame. You lost your bending. Zuko made you useless. Empty. You have nothing left.”

Azula stops. She turns around slowly and makes a multi-coloured dragon-flame in her palm. It sparkles in purple, green, yellow. Nobody has seen a flame like this in centuries, people thought it was just a legend. “You could have had so much, Father.  You’ll never even understand what you have wasted,” she extinguishes the flame and all the torches in the prison. The place falls into complete darkness. “Good-bye.”  Her footsteps echo in the corridor.

Chapter 10 - Two Parties

The gaang are honored as war heroes, but emotions run high for Katara as she tries to find her place in a post-war world

Excerpt: “It’s great to see you got here so quickly General Iroh,” Katara said.

“It is great to see you all as well,” Iroh responded before his voice quickly shifted to a hushed tone, “now I’ve planned quite the evening for you all. I’ve invited everyone to a large gathering to celebrate Prince Zuko becoming Fire Lord, of course, but I’ve also arranged a smaller party for just you kids afterwards.”

“Why are we whispering?” Sokka asked loudly, prompting Iroh to shush him quickly, as he looked back over his shoulder frantically.

“My nephew doesn’t know of my plans yet, and if he finds out now he will surely find a way to back out of it. He’s not big on parties,” Iroh rushed.

Everyone nodded in understanding. “Why the second party just for us?” Suki asked.

“Oh, well, you kids are the true heroes of this war, and I thought you all deserved a nice relaxing evening with delicious food and drink, without all of the commotion of the official party, before we all have to fly back to Ba Sing Se tomorrow,” he said with a contented smile.

“So, you’re throwing us a tea party?” Toph asked incredulously.

Iroh was such an odd man. He could be so commanding and firm, but at the same time had so much compassion and thoughtfulness for others – in addition to his penchant for forcing fun and silliness on everyone. No wonder he’s always getting on Zuko’s nerves, Katara thought fondly.

“Ooh, wow! That sounds so fun! It’ll be just like a big sleepover, I can’t wait!” Ty Lee chimed in, practically bouncing with excitement, while Iroh winced again from the increase in volume.

Every head turned toward her in surprise. They had forgotten that she was standing there with them.
