what did you do? what did you do to that overdue book?
today is the date of when i first came into this world. what sort of activities does people do during times like this?
"Happy belated day of your birth! It is customary to spend the day doing things you enjoy to celebrate your existence, Is there anything you enjoy doing?"
oh thank you. is there something that i enjoy doing? i do not believe so other than taking care of my library. is there a list of things to do during this time of the year?
today is the date of when i first came into this world. what sort of activities does people do during times like this?
is it that time of month again?
"It sure is."
*sips coffee.*
oh. have you gotten something special plan during this time of month?
"Eh, nothing much really... just iron out my pride flag and hang it up on my wall. How about you?"
oh, could i potentially inquire about do people normally put up flags during this time of month? and would it be considered rude to inquire about another's?
"I mean, I don't think it's rude. You're just curious, after all. But some people like to put up their flags at this time because well we come together in a community... sorta. We're just expressing ourselves and showing who we are.
ah, so it is. and you are correct in the fact that i am curious about it. at least there is a space for you to express yourself fully without judgment, correct? but may i inquire, would you happen to feel connected to this community?
"Indeed. Also I do actually feel connected with this community. Mostly because I know there are other men out that who like men as well."
that is quite lovely to hear, and i am glad to hear that. after all, it is always nice to be in some sort of community. if i may inquire, are there more in the community within communities or is it just one big group of communities?
"Well it's technically one big community but there's smaller communities within the community."
ah, i see then. like sub-communities for the entire community type of deal? so may i inquire about just how big is this community? and is there a small celebratory thing that happens with each of those communities?
"Well it big since many people these day are openly gay."
ah, that does seems like the most logical answer. but would it be rude to inquire about the reasonings why they used to not be so open about that sort of things? it is, after all, who they are and they should do those types of things if does not hurt anyone in the process.
"Oh, it's that month? Welp time to go iron my pride flag. Does anyone have an iron?"
an iron? i believe so. *looks around before bringing out a nice iron out for him* but what exactly are you ironing?
*He carefully took the iron.*
"Thanks. And I'm ironing my pride flag. The gay one. Not the rainbow one but the blue gay one."
excuse my inquiries, but there are multiple colored version of the gay flag? apologies for this, but would you happen to be show me which one you are talking about?
"Oh there's multiple versions of the gay flag. Some pan, some bi, some trans, etc. This one right here is the one for men."
ah, those are some nice colors to the flag. and quite apologies if i may seem rude about this, but may i inquire about the number of versions of the gay flag? and may i also inquire about if do they all look like this? all colorful and nice-looking?
"Well there are multiple flags, too many for me to count. Also most look similar in a way. All the flags are simple. They're colorful and mainly just have stripes on them. Some being 7 stripes while others being 3 or 5."
ah, i see. i suppose to signify that you are all in a community together despite everything. for curiosities sakes, but could i inquire about which one you happen to favor out of all the flags, in terms of colors?
"Hmm well if we're talking about colors only and not gender or sexualities then the gay flag and the lesbian one as well."
apologies to have to inquire about this, but which one of the flags is the lesbian one again? from what i can tell, there are multiples.
"Uh it's the more pink and orange one. It looks like the gay one."
ah, i see. maybe i will get the chance to see it myself sometimes. *Alatar nods.* but may i inquire why you like those types of colors?
